premeditation and consideration of others. Love of life.
Reflections:
·
High level of energy that

direction, due to the original impulse to go his own way, regardless of
the direction that others (the mass?) might take.

the fullest, wouldn’t even think about restrictions.
·
Willingness to dare, try and
take risks when others will want to wait and see.

rhythm, physical activity, cycles?), almost unlimited capacity to (re)invigorate
the self.
·

things on an energetic level (cf. EA’s reference to Aries as the
birthplace of ideas as spiritual impulses) and willingness to let things
work through one’s self and life (enthousiasm), only to identify them
when manifested.
·
Dynamic sense of
humility, because of the realization that the energy that flows through
him and is the source of his strength isn’t his to claim, but it is his
to use.
·
Recognizes the utility of transforming the
rough, brutal and explosive patterns into more subtly directed, canalized
and sometimes controlled manner

individuality as a way to stabilization of the self and self-confidence
(identity).
Serene,
self-conscious, taking care of relatives and loved ones, self-assured, may
appear as arrogant, but mostly just proud, makes decent family fathers,
importance of self-sustaining.
Self-assurance
consolidates the identity and the need for self-realization in society and
gives a strength (energy) that may radiate the personal environment .
Stabilization
of the self and personal serenity.
General
characteristics (conscious and unconscious):
-
Reacts on emotions,
needs to express what makes him unique, his identity, different from all
others. Importance of personal creativity and talent, what may be
developed by the individual.
-
Art as a projection of
the personality and an instrument to master, but also as a means of
interaction with society and making an impression that will leave its mark
(breaking through the limitations of time). Likes to have an audience, to
get recognition.
-
Uses creativity
to raise his own level of consciousness, to become his own guide and
teacher and ascertain the messages coming to him through his creations.
Becomes physically receptive to a deeper truth through his application and
devotion to the creative process. Even so that in a later stage, he will
be able to teach others.
-
At best, becomes

-
Intense
self-projection, fascinating and compelling energy. Commanding presence.
Able to move the masses with his personal expression and charisma.

Themes of leadership
and subordination, organisation of a society of individuals and social
responsibility. Confrontation of the individual with society and his role
in society. Confrontation with pain and frustration because he doesn’t
get what he wants. Primitive social awareness.
-
Affirmation of the
self. Deep-seated self-consciousness, has a profound interest in self and
its needs and wishes. Consecrates all thought, time and service to his own

needs met by others for being special.
Reflections:
·
Innate sense of

rise above this, you can't keep me down, for I am Divine, and I know it
all too well." Reminds of a divine birthright.

SAGITTARIUS
f
-
experience
brought to the personality =
awareness of a higher level
-
contribution
made through this sign =
synthesis of higher and lower
-
key to understanding
its energy = its need to find purpose
Fiery,
spiritual nature -
Experimenting quality - Soul focus
Spiritual
openness and freedom, urge to find out about all the knowledge dispersed
throughout the world. Looks up, contemplates the horizon and even has a
notion of and longing for what lies beyond (the unknown) and is prepared
to make the necessary efforts to get ‘there’. The achievement of a
goal always brings up a new one. Strong urge to improve one’s knowledge,
consciousness is directed towards the higher (from knowledge to wisdom).
Experience of
aiming, focus and concentrated energy.
Discovery of a
new horizon or higher level through the focussing of one’s awareness.
General
characteristics (unconscious and conscious):
-
Jovial, fun energy,
spontaneous and seeking to evoke positive response from others. Outspoken
and wholehearted.
-
Personal freedom on
all levels is very important. Concerned with exploring and with all forms
of growth that can help to adjust the sense of identity and discover our
place in the greater scheme.
-
The individual reaches
a holistic perspective and his awareness is fully directed towards society
and even further. Farsighted. He is totally absorbed by social and
mystical influences, and aware of connections that are far from obvious.
-
Concerned with
adventurous quests and the entire field of knowledge in its broadest and
most spiritual sense: religion and philosophy, abstraction and
metaphysics. Courageous and optimistic.
-
Finds new meanings and
new dimensions of thought. He clears up problematic issues and is able to
lift veils where necessary, without losing his identity.
-
‘God’ is sought
for with previously unknown intensity, search for eternal values, the
absolute, that which stands beyond time and space. Seeks the truth at all
costs. Cf. A.C. Doyle: The Sagittarian refuses to allow things to devolve,
but insures they must ever evolve.
-
Social movements
forcefully come into being, but also fanaticism and intolerance.
Preoccupied with organizing social energies arising from the necessity of
humans to identify with the whole community. Works with organised
spirituality and rituals, icons, holy symbols of unity.
-
In a positive
sense strives for the application of insight and intelligence with the
purpose of making society functional and connecting everything within it
on a higher level (makes laws, social, ethical and religious rules).
-
Direct and
constructive mental activity. Wants to make a contribution that is
practical as well as useful. Wants to apply ethics as a useful system for
human relations, not in the idealistic sense. Brings order and meaning to
the confusing and complicated social patterns and natural phenomenon, by
interpreting connections between events and expressing them in the form of
formulas or laws.
-
Works with efficiency
and management, provides guidance. Seeks to develop what already exists
and reorganise things in a holistic way: all separate elements of a system
must be linked and function as a whole.
-
Has an innate drive
and all the energy he needs. Has access to a source of energy that he can
master and with which he identifies. Awareness of the synthesis of the
energy and of that which operates it.
-
His concern is to be
aware of and focus his energy in the right direction. Has a strong and
coordinated mentality, able to go through intense experiences. He is
totally concentrated upon the attainment of that which is desired.
-
The source of
his strength lies in his identification with needs of his community and
his time, which he is able to perceive, interpret and express on a higher
level. Is especially sensitive to social needs.
-
His objective is
to orient himself to some new and higher objective, his task to refocus
himself towards a higher goal, he must unfold some basic and directing
purpose.
-
He is aware of and
uses the boundaries of earthly life, and learns to see all the
opportunities that are present. Sees physical development as part of life,
and remains in touch with the material aspects of life, with his feet on
the ground. Likes sports and the outdoors.
-
Because of his lack of
concern for individuals, he will seldom find beings important as such, and
may become fanatic and puritan. All that is personal must be sacrificed
for the well-being of the community.
-
When fanaticism is
based on frustration and leads to the idea that the community may save
itself by sacrificing the individuals that constitute it, those who claim
the right to exert this kind of social-religious power may experience a
kind of perverted exaltation in doing so. In this way personal asceticism
may lead to cruelty.
-
One-pointed selfish
instincts, emotional and full of desire.
-
Can be quite blunt and
tactless.
-
Because of his
enhanced social awareness and his limited sense of individuality, he may
be attracted to a certain sensation of violence to get back the feeling of
having his own personality. Especially when through social chaos he has
gathered destructive energies, of which he wants to get rid. That way he
may appear as a fairly noisy, boisterous and arrogant character.
Reflections:
·
Heightened intensity
of living, drive for intense experiences and going into the unknown.
CONSCIOUS :
·
Importance of
the inner motivation and the spiritual standards used in life, authentic
aspiration.
·
Learns that it
is the regular use of his intuitive mind and acting upon what he
perceives, that will bring him further.
